Your Cab is Your Castle
In a space smaller than a walk-in closet, organization isn’t just “nice to have”—it is essential for sanity. A chaotic cab leads to a chaotic mind.
Zone 1: The Cockpit
This area is strictly for driving operations.
- ● No Trash: If you finish a snack, the wrapper goes to the trash bin immediately, not the dash.
- ● Clipboard: Secured. Not sliding around.
- ● Hydration: Water bottle in the cup holder. Nothing else.
Zone 2: The Office (Passenger Seat)
This is where the business happens.
- ● The “Inbox”: A specific bin for incoming receipts and BOLs.
- ● The Bag: Your work bag sits here, strapped in.
- ● Floor Clear: The floorboard must be empty to allow safe entry/exit.
Zone 3: The Kitchen
Usually behind the seats. Separation of food and work.
- ● Cooler/Fridge: Stocked on Sunday. Organized by meal type.
- ● Dry Goods: In a sealed bin (prevents pests and spills).
- ● Cleaning Supplies: Paper towels and spray within reach.
Zone 4: The Sanctuary (Bunk)
Zero work allowed here. This is for recovery.
- ● Bedding: Made every morning. A made bed dignifies the space.
- ● Personal Items: Books, tablet, family photos.
- ● Lighting: Softer, warmer lights for evening winding down.
